Bonnyrigg Soul Club is a Fantastic Night of 60's 70's and 80's Soul Tunes, Our established Dj's continue to deliver a broad spectrum of sounds from the best music scene on the planet. Bonnyrigg Soul Club has 'so much soul' and will leave you wanting more.

The Club started in November 1999 holding the opening night at the Anvil Inn. A busy bar with a
small dancefloor in the centre, it very quickly proved to be too small for the numbers that were attending.

After only a couple of events we decided to move to The Chase. A much larger function room reminiscent of the 70s & 80s era and familiar to hosting many a live band and disco nights of the past, The Chase became the home of Bonnyrigg Soul Club for the next 10 years.

Ten years on and still going strong, a change of venue was soon to come and a move to the Masonic Hall
just around the corner in Bonnyrigg High Street was like a breath of fresh air. A traditional type dance hall of the 70s with seating situated around the outer edges of a long rectangular wooden dance floor provided the perfect setting for Northern Soul.

Our decks have been graced by many of Scotland’s finest Northern Soul DJ’s, and a number top named
guests from south of the border too.

As one of Scotland’s longest running Soul Clubs 2013 sees the club heading into its 14^th year. With regular attendances from Soul fans up and down the country, and also attracting the occasional visitors from abroad, the club continues to go from strength to strength.

Playing the very best in 60s & 70s Rare Soul, Motown, R & B and Crossover, you can be sure to hear many a sound to suit your taste. Pay us a visit. Would be guid tae see ye. You’ll be made very welcome.
